Vision Walk

I volunteered in The Foundation Fighting Blindness’ signature fundraising event VISIONWALK on Sunday June 3rd.Proceeds of the walk will allow us to take bigger steps to fund promising research into the causes, treatments and cures for all retinal degenerative diseases.I found out about and volunteered about this event on May 23rd but I was able to beat my goal of $400.00. For the most part it rained the during the whole walk but it was great. I was able by doing this to find out that we have a path leading from the Reston VA Town Center all the way over to Lake Anne (round trip is about 3.5 miles) - I did not know that!
This event and many others are only a few of the reasons that I Love and live in Reston, VA
